Who handles your data
The data controller is Petru Alin Rednic, who provides the services under the name chapter growth. For any question about your data, email us at hi@chaptergrowthagency.com.
What we collect
Through the contact form: your name, company (optional), industry, phone number or email, and your message. We also record the page you sent the form from and the time we received it.
The server hosting the site automatically keeps technical logs, such as your IP address and browser.
The site sets a single cookie, “lang”, which remembers the language you chose. We use no marketing or analytics cookies.
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you. We only see totals, such as how many visits each page gets and which countries they come from.
Why we use it
To reply to you, set up the call and prepare the quote you asked for. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before a possible contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
We use technical logs and visit statistics to keep the site running securely and to see which pages are useful. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
We never sell your data, and we don't send you marketing without your consent.
How long we keep it
If we don't end up working together, we delete your message within 12 months of our last contact. If you become a client, we keep your data for as long as we work together and then for as long as the law requires, for example for accounting records.
Technical logs are deleted automatically after a short period, according to the hosting provider's settings.
Who else can access it
Vercel Inc. hosts the website, its technical logs and the visit statistics. Namecheap, Inc., through its Private Email service, hosts the mailbox where form messages arrive.
Both companies are based in the United States. Data is transferred under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
If you message us on WhatsApp, the conversation also passes through Meta's services, under WhatsApp's own policy.
Your rights
You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to correct it, to have it deleted, to restrict how it's used, to receive it in a portable format and to object to its processing.
To use any of these rights, email us at hi@chaptergrowthagency.com. We'll reply within one month.
If you believe we haven't respected your rights, you can complain to the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP) at dataprotection.ro.
